Pinot noir Savage comes from our small vineyard of masal Pinot noir material. This vineyard has achieved an excellent adaptation to the cold of the south and to our volcanic soils, managing to obtain a wine with a very delicate expression, difficult to find in this variety in other Pinot noirs in Chile. The grapes are harvested by hand by the people of the neighboring community to our vineyard, then they are destemmed, but not crushed, to carry out a carbonic maceration and help the volume in the mouth.
Fermentation is done in open tanks with native yeasts and aging is done entirely in stainless steel, to keep the purity of the fruit unaltered. It is a wine that seeks to fully express the freshness of Pinot noir in the extreme climate of Chilean Patagonia, with no more complexity than honest and direct fruit
Trapi Pinot noir Savage has a cherry red color. With floral notes, strawberries, cherries, hints of mushrooms and humid earth. Very fresh, is fruit-driven and pleasant with a delicate texture on the palate and a smooth finish, where again aromas of berries emerge in the aftertaste.
